How Supurb verifies your ID
You upload one photo of your driver’s license, state ID or U.S. passport, and a clear photo of a valid ID is usually checked automatically within seconds. Anything the check cannot confirm goes to our team, and your driver checks your ID again at the door.

What you upload
- The front of a driver’s license from any US state.
- A state ID card.
- The photo page of an unexpired U.S. passport.
One clear photo is all it takes; there is no selfie. Medical customers also upload their current Arizona medical marijuana card. You verify your phone number before uploading, and your email address before your first order.
What the automatic check looks at
Supurb reads the ID as soon as you upload it. For a recreational account, it is approved automatically when all of these hold:
- Your date of birth shows you are 21 or older.
- The ID has not expired.
- The name on the ID matches the name on your Supurb profile.
- The photo is clearly an ID, not a picture of something else.
When our team takes a look
If the photo is blurry, dark, cut off or covered in glare, you are asked for a clearer one. If the name does not match your profile, or your account is a medical one, a person on our team reviews it instead. A review by a person takes longer than the automatic check, and you can see your verification status in your account while you wait.
Who can see your ID
Your ID image can be viewed by you and by authorized Supurb staff, and every staff view is logged. Dispensary staff can only view it for customers who have ordered from their store. Drivers never see the image.
At your door
Have your government-issued ID ready when your order arrives. Before handing it over, the driver matches you to the ID on file and confirms your age. A delivery cannot be completed without that check.
